Joaquim Cardozo

Structural engineer, writer and editor of architectural journals who spoke fifteen languages. He worked together with Oscar Niemeyer on the construction of Brasilia. Recognised for his invaluable understanding of the calculations of structures which enabled the building of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Brasilia.
