Yakov Chernikhov

Yakov Chernikov (1889-1951) born in Pavolgrad to an impoverished family. In 1916 he was offered an opportunity to study at the Imperial Accademy of Arts in St Petersburg. He was an architect and graphic designer with a particular interest in the Constructivist and Futurist movements.
